Straight Answers

Membership should make life simpler

The useful details, in ordinary English and with no fancy footwork.

No.

Once you’ve completed Level 1 and moved onto Standard Membership, you don’t need to keep purchasing a new course every seven weeks.

Your membership keeps your dancing going, so you can continue progressing through the levels and enjoy eligible classes across participating venues.

You’ve completed Level 1, now the fun really begins!

You can move onto Standard Membership and continue into the next level, whilst still having the same benefits and opportunities to dance across all Havana Salsa classes and venues.

There’s no need to purchase another 7-week course every time you progress. Just keep dancing.

Your Beginner option covers your Level 1 journey and gives you the perfect introduction to Havana Salsa.

Once you’ve completed Level 1, you can move onto Standard Membership and continue your journey with access to more classes, levels and venues.

£79 for the Full 7 week Beginners course or we offer pro-rata pricing so you only pay for the classes remaining in the course. Joining in week 3 = £56 pro-rata.

Yes. When you join, you’ll choose your main Level 1 class, but you’re not restricted to that location. While your Beginner membership is active, you can attend eligible Level 1 classes at other participating Havana Salsa venues too.

So if you miss your usual class, want some extra practice or simply fancy dancing another night, you’ve got more options.

No problem. Your booking secures your place on the Level 1 course you selected.

Your course begins on the advertised start date, so you know exactly when your Havana Salsa journey starts.

Not at all.

You can join Havana Salsa on your own, with a partner or with friends. We regularly rotate partners during classes, so you’ll meet and dance with other students.

Coming on your own is completely normal.

New to Havana Salsa? Choose Beginner if you haven’t completed a Havana Salsa Level 1 course yet.

Completed Level 1 and want to keep dancing? Choose Standard Membership for ongoing access to Havana Salsa classes, venues and levels. You can repeat L1 again with the Standard Membership.

Only want an occasional class? Choose PAYG and simply pay for the class you attend.

If you’re planning to dance regularly, Standard Membership gives you the most opportunity to dance, learn and progress.

A lot more Havana Salsa!
Your Standard Membership gives you access to all Havana Salsa classes, multiple levels, multiple venues and more than one eligible class on the same night.
Keep your usual class, try another level, repeat another level, visit another venue or add another night of dancing.
One membership. More dancing. More learning. More Havana Salsa.

At £11.80 per PAYG class, four classes cost £47.20.

Standard Membership is £44.99 per month and gives you access to eligible classes across participating venues, including the opportunity to take additional classes.

So if you’re dancing regularly, Membership can quickly make sense, and the more you dance, the more value you get from it.

Yes,  and that’s one of the biggest benefits of Membership.

Stay for another level, try another class and get more dancing into your night at no additional class charge.

Yes.

Standard Membership isn’t tied to just one participating Havana Salsa venue. Keep your regular class, but if you fancy another night of dancing, want to practise more or can’t make your usual night, you can attend eligible classes at other participating venues.

One membership. Multiple venues.

Yes, where the level is suitable for you.

Continue progressing through your normal level while using other suitable classes to practise, reinforce what you’ve learned and get more time on the dance floor. Repeat and Repeat.

If you’re unsure which level is right for you, just ask your Havana Salsa teaching team.

Definitely not.

Membership is about how much you want to dance, not how advanced you are. It gives you more opportunities to practise, learn, socialise and progress.

You don’t have to be a great dancer to become a member. Membership helps you become a better dancer. It is valid for all levels.

Standard Membership is designed for people who want to make dancing part of their routine and really experience the benefits of regular classes.

Your membership starts with an initial two-month period. After that, it continues monthly at the applicable membership rate.

Those first two months give you time to settle into your classes, explore other levels and venues, meet more dancers and get much more from your Havana Salsa experience.

Nothing, just come back and dance when you can.

Standard Membership isn’t based on using a set number of classes each month. It gives you ongoing access to eligible classes while your membership is active.

Miss your usual night? You may be able to dance at another participating venue instead. That’s one of the big advantages of membership.

It’s simple.

When you arrive, tell the Havana Salsa team you’re a member, and present your unique MEMBERSHIP ID . It will look like hs-mmb-1234. We’ll confirm your active membership and check you into the classes you’re attending that evening. Havana Salsa reserves the right to refuse entry where a valid Membership ID cannot be provided.

If you’re taking more than one eligible class, you don’t need to pay again.

Each membership belongs to one dancer, so every person needs their own booking confirmation / membership.

If you’re joining with a partner or friend, that’s absolutely fine – simply set up a membership for each person. Then you can start your dance journey together.

Yes. After your initial minimum membership period, you can cancel in accordance with our membership terms. You can stop future renewals at any time and keep using your membership until the expiry date shown in your latest joining or renewal email. Paid but unused membership time is not refunded.

PAYG is ideal if you’re only planning to dance occasionally.

Simply choose the class you want to attend and pay £11.80 for one class.

If you find yourself wanting to dance more regularly, take additional classes or experience more Havana Salsa venues, Standard Membership is likely to give you more unlimited opportunities.
