No partner required, and whether you’re a complete beginner or have some dance experience, our friendly and experienced instructors offer relaxed, engaging lessons that will help you build confidence and enjoy the Latin rhythms of salsa.

Set in the vibrant surroundings of Railway Terrace, the Waterfall Bar provides the perfect venue for a fun evening of dancing. Our Salsa dance classes in Derby are a great way to stay active, meet new people, and unwind after work. There’s no need to bring a partner – just come along, enjoy the music, and learn something new in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

The venue boasts a great upstairs room with a smooth wooden dance floor – ideal for dancing. Downstairs, the bar is open throughout the evening, so you can enjoy a drink before, during, or after your class. With excellent transport links by train, bus, or car, plus plenty of central and free street parking nearby, getting here is easy.

We’re excited to bring a fresh weekly Salsa night to Derby, with structured classes led by passionate instructors and authentic Latin music to keep you moving. Classes can be purchased, pay as you go, in a FLEXI 4 or 7 loyalty saving cards, or a FIXED 7 loyalty saving card.

Flexi cards are exactly what they say they are: flexible. They allow you to skip classes due to work commitments, holidays, illness etc without missing or forfeiting any of your lessons.

Additionally, the power of these cards is that they can be used at any venue, and any level. They don’t need to be used consecutively or in-line with our 7 week teaching programmes. If you miss a class you – you can simply catch up using your remaining FLEXI credits. They are great value.

(Valid for one full course cycle, fixed venue)

The Fixed option is even more of a great saving than the Flexi card.

All of your lessons will be limited to the specific 7 lesson teaching programme at your chosen venue. 

If you are unable to attend one or more of the classes of that cycle, those classes will be forfeited.

For example, if you choose to start during week 3 of a course, the card will still expire at the end of that course cycle in 4 weeks time. 

You are not able to use this card at any other venue or level other than the venue and level allocated to your fixed card.

When booking your course, you will be able to choose between the current course or the next course in the cycle.

If you are a beginner, we would recommend joining a course no later than the 3rd week of the 7 week cycle due to the progressive nature of our structured courses.

All of our venues are now cashless.  You can purchase classes online or at the venue via our payment terminals which all accept ApplePay, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Amex, GooglePay.

WhatsApp is currently how we make announcements or any last minute notifications, such as venue or class times changes, so it’s a good idea to include yourself in one of our groups.
